Faust on Sex.com Radio
I'm being interviewed by Ciara Parsons and Jason Stuart for sex.com radio tomorrow. You will be able to hear me on XM radio's National Lampoon radio network 154 on September 4th at 7pm and again on the 9th at 4pm (PST). You will also be able to watch streaming video of the program online. However, the busy little internet elves over at sex.com are currently beavering away setting up the radio homepage and archives so I can't post a link for that just yet. It will be up and running soon and I'll post a link and a reminder closer to the date that the streaming video will be available for viewing.

Assorted News Bytes
I'll be appearing on Sex.com radio on August 28th. You'll be able to watch streaming video as well as listen on their website, so check it out.
I've got a story called "The Footjob" in Jennifer Jordan's new antho UNCAGED, forthcoming from Bleak House Books in spring of 09.
I wrote a short tribute to Richard S. Prather for GQ Magazine's October Crime Fiction Guide.
And speaking of October, I'm now officially booked for B-Con. I'm also supposed to travel to Germany for the Frankfurt Book Fair to promote the German release of Money Shot. I'll post more specific details on that soon as I have them.

Hunt for Adventure

Charles Ardai, our fearless leader at Hard Case Crime, is launching a new pulp adventure series called THE ADVENTURES OF GABRIEL HUNT. Here’s what he has to say about it:
"These books are for anyone who grew up reading H. Rider Haggard and Edgar Rice Burroughs or watching Harrison Ford wield his bullwhip at the movies," said Ardai. "We're talking classic adventure fiction, complete with horses, snakes, shovels, pickaxes, torches, traps, bottomless pits, barroom brawls, jungles, jewels, and just about everything else that's ever made your heart beat faster. Like Hard Case Crime before it, the Gabriel Hunt series is a true labor of love. Everyone working on it is doing so with a wild gleam in the eye and the gas pedal pressed to the floor, and the result is the sort of exultant seat-of-the-pants storytelling that makes you feel 14 years old all over again."
The series will be published under house name Gabriel Hunt, but will actually be penned by Hard Case vets and other well known pulp enthusiasts.
So I bet you’re all wondering if I’ll be writing one.
I am unaware of any such activity or operation, nor would I be disposed to discuss such an operation if it did, in fact, exist, sir.

Latest Events and Signings and Other News
The March issue of Penthouse containing my interview will be available on newsstands on the 19th.
I’m leaving on 2/19 for New Orleans and I'll be doing one semi-work-related event while I’m there. I’ll be having a modest book party next Thursday evening, the 21st of February at The Delachaise. We’re planning on offering some little tasty treats and a unique cocktail created especially for the occasion. There will also be some dinner specials elaborating on the hardboiled pulp theme and books available for signing, courtesy of Garden District Book Shop. If you’re in the area, stop in around 8pm for good reads and good eats.
Then, on Saturday the 23rd at 4:30 pm, I’ll be signing with Megan Abbott at Murder by the Book 2342 Bissonnet St Houston TX 77005 (713) 524-8597
